Antonio Vivaldi
Antonio Vivaldi was a professional violinist born in Venice, Italy on March 4th 1678, Early in his life he became a priest and because of his bright red hair, he earned the nickname “Red Priest”. In 1703 at an orphanage for girls he became a music teacher and stayed there until 1740!

Vivaldi may best be known as the champion of the Baroque concerto (concerto is a musical composition for a solo instrument or instruments accompanied by an orchestra) having composed over 400 concertos throughout his life you could probably say that he was amazing at playing a violin.

Without question, Vivaldi’s most famous work is the set of four violin concertos called The Four Seasons spring, summer, autumn, and winter. (Not to brag but um… I can play the Winter)
In June, 1741 Vivaldi travelled to Vienna where only one month later he died of unknown causes at the age of 67. Although he had alot of money during his life he died poor without even hvaing a grave. Some of his music is lost, but interestingly new pieces keep being discovered.
